In the heart of the city of Marrakech, the Riad L’Aziza offers an idyllic escape from the hustle of the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. The riad was previously owned by the Sultan Glaoui, and the new owners have preserved its artisanal architecture. The Riad L’Aziza has five rooms, which all surround the beautiful and expansive courtyard. There’s an enchanting rooftop for the guest who books the upstairs suite. The discrete nooks around the riad and the incomparable service make it one of the best kept secrets in Marrakesh’s Medina. You can rent out the entire riad for you and your friends, and have the place all to yourselves!

Comptoir is one of the hottest restaurants, bar/lounges located in the heart of Marrakesh. The French word comptoir means a meeting place, trading post or bar, which is very fitting for this exotically beautiful spot. The eclectic twist on traditional Moroccan cuisine is amazing and unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Comptoir is also known for its amazing belly dancers who hale from all over Morocco to perform and entertain guests. Although this restaurant is a must for travelers, it is filled with Moroccan locals and tourists alike.
When you get there, have dinner in the main dining area, then go upstairs to the bar/lounge for after dinner cocktails and to watch the beautiful belly dancers. Must make reservations!!

La Plage Rouge is the best way to relax and feel like you’re in Saint Tropez while still in Marrakesh. If you can imagine a gigantic pool surrounded by red sexy lounge beds outlined with white curtains, champagne flowing, and beautiful people laying out, dancing and partying, then you get a sense of what La Plage Rouge is all about. It’s the perfect way to cool off from the Moroccan sun and to escape into a little cote d’azur getaway while soaking in the rich culture of Marrakesh.
It’s 7-10km away from the center of the city and worth the trip. Go with a group of friends and be prepared to party! Ask for Adam Edmond – tell him the Travelistas sent you.

Moroccans know how to keep the party going, and the place to be is Suite Club. A cozy and stylish nouvelle boîte, Suite Club is known for la musique, with DJ David Sinclair spinning the best tunes to keep the party going. The owners of Suite Club, Hassan Alaoui and Hicham Safrioui, were able to bring the true esprit de la fête to Suite. Around the dance floor, there are VIP spaces which invite you to drink, mingle, and be merry! It’s not unusual to dance until 4 or 5am here. In fact, it’s widely encouraged!
